Methodology

This model uses a normalized scoring system based on three primary factors:

Population: Absolute regional population figures (ONS 2022).
Deprivation: Average Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) score, inverted for funding need.
Infrastructure: Existing cultural venues per 100,000 residents.
